Workorder Statuses

Workorder Status

A workorder can be assigned different statuses. This is generally brought from an ERP.

This can also be managed manually in Shopfloor to for example cancel and pause production of a work order.

There are currently four different statuses:

  • Released
  • OnHold
  • Canceled
  • Completed

The Released status means that the Work order is released for production.

This status will allow for production to be made on the work order.

On Hold and Canceled will not allow production on the workorder. Instead, an error message will be displayed on the tablet trying to scan into a work order with this status.

Completed means the work order is finished. A work order will automatically switch to completed when the WO quantity = WIP end quantity.

For this to be accurate the WIP flags in the BOL need to be set up where the first operation is WIP start and the last operation is WIP end.

These statuses are currently used for integration with ERP and filtering purposes.
