Shopfloor Control: Enhanced Off-Standard Work Management
Overview
This new feature introduces a more granular way to manage off-standard work by allowing a portion of the time and Standard Allowed Minutes (SAMs) to be attributed to on-standard work. Previously, all earned SAMs were transferred to on-standard, but this enhancement provides more accurate tracking and compensation by allowing a percentage-based split.
This change impacts transactions, real-time calculations, back-end jobs, and reporting to reflect the new allocation of work time and SAMs.

Configuration & Table Changes
This feature is enabled through new percentage fields that allow administrators to configure how off-standard work time and SAMs are split between on-standard and off-standard categories.
Off-Standard Table:
A new % of Work Time to On-Std field has been added. Null defaults to 0%.
A new % of SAM to On-Std field has been added. Null defaults to 0%.
Transactions Table:
A new % of Work Time is On-Std field has been added. Null defaults to 0%.
A new % of SAM is On-Std field has been added. Null defaults to 0%.
These fields are configurable in the Manage > Off-Standards section of the application.
Real-Time System Behavior
The system's real-time functionality has been updated to reflect the new percentage-based allocation.
When creating new off-standard transactions, the configured percentages will be automatically applied.
Aggregates for Users and Locations have been updated to correctly respect the new percentage split for earned hours and SAMs.
When an off-standard transaction is modified back to on-standard, the percentage fields will be reset to their default values.
The approval and un-approval process for temporary off-standard transactions now accounts for these new fields.
Back-End Job Changes
The following back-end jobs have been updated to correctly process and transfer the on-standard portion of off-standard work.
PayDaily Job: Any portion of hours, SAMs, and piece rate attributed to on-standard work will now be correctly transferred to a separate on-standard pay record.
UserDaily Job: The on-standard portion of hours and SAMs will be separated from HoursOff and SAMOff and moved into new HoursOn and SAMOn fields, respectively.
ProductDaily Job: The on-standard portion of hours and SAMs will be separated from CycleTimeOff and SAMOff and moved into new CycleTimeOn and SAMOn fields.
Screen and Report Impacts
All screens and reports that display efficiency, work time, or other related metrics have been updated to reflect the new percentage splits.
Screens: Any screen under Live Production and KPIs that uses work time or efficiency calculations based on transactions will now correctly factor in the percentage transfer from off-standard to on-standard.
Reports: All reports that calculate efficiency or work time based on transaction data have been updated to respect the new on-standard portion of hours and SAMs. This includes several key data points across each report that now accurately reflect the updated transfer logic.
This enhancement ensures more accurate reporting and compensation for all types of production work.
