Definition and Functionality

Shifts times are the schedule plant hours for the users to perform their task. The system uses the shift parameters during the rounding process to create work hours, absence hours and overtime.

Manage > Users > Shifts

Parameters

The system uses shift ID and name to create a new shift definition. Shift definitions are created to define the rules for managing start and end windows for making rounding rules and rounding intervals.

Hours

Inside the Hours detail, classification of shift hours are done by a calendar.

Shift Hours -Comprehends the start to the end of the regular working hours.
Shift Hours (optional) - Optional schedule of hours.
Shift Overtime Hours - Specific ranges of overtime hours allowed by a supervisor approval.
Holiday Hours - Creates Holiday hours

To allow the following events to be applied , there is a global setting that needs to be enabled called "Shift schedules should trigger jobs" located under the General tab of the settings menu

Break - Schedules the break time for the shift
Offstandard - Non productive time that can be scheduled
Clear Tablet - Resets all production stats on tablet
Sign Out - Signs all users out of the tablets/timekeep
Holiday - Designates a holiday schedule
Reset Production - Resets all production stats for day
