Definition and Functionality

Training curves are used to motivate a (new) user to learn the skills required to reach 100% efficiency for a specific operation/operation category. Training curves are typically tied to a bonus to motivate operators to learn a new skill/operation quickly.

Training Curve Menu

Training curves are generally tracked daily or weekly. Base rates could be associated with training curves. Each training curve has unique increments that are set through the levels.

Levels

Levels define the increments of hours per week or day before moving the employee to the next level. The levels also assigned the efficiency goal that the user must meet. There are also efficiency parameters to prorogue payment if the goal is not met or if the goal is exceeded.

User Evaluation

Each trainee is evaluated by historical data that shows the level and the goal required to move to the next level. It also shows hours worked and the actual efficiency achieved by level.

Graph form of the historical data.

Note - These Training Curves are associated with the Shopfloor Incentive Pay system
