Hybrid Manufacturing

Hybrid manufacturing can be achieved by combining Progressive Manufacturing with Lean lines.

For example, parts of a line or BOL can be produced using progressive single user manufacturing while another part is using a lean method.

This works by building a BOL with both elements, i.e. operations using both types of processes.

This can be very useful when for example half the line is using a lean method with multiple users on a single tablet, but the other half is working with a progressive method.
