Tag & Product Category Default Bundle Quantities

SFC now automatically assigns default bundle quantities during Work Order payload imports using a hierarchical lookup based on Tag Type and Product Category. This eliminates fixed bundle sizing without requiring changes to incoming ERP schemas.

Rule Hierarchy & Resolution Order

When a Work Order line item is processed, SFC determines the bundle size using the following fallback sequence:

[ERP Work Order Payload]

       │

       ▼

1. Tag Type Match? ──────────> YES ──> Apply Tag Type Default Qty

       │ NO

       ▼

2. Product Category Match? ─> YES ──> Apply Product Category Default Qty

       │ NO

       ▼

3. System Fallback ─────────> Applies Global Default Bundle Qty

Tag Type Match: If the line item contains a mapped Tag Type (or explicit Tag Qty override), SFC applies the specific Tag Type bundle size.

Product Category Match: If the Tag Type is missing or unmapped, SFC applies the default bundle size for the item's Product Category.

Global Fallback: If neither match exists, the system applies the global default bundle quantity.

Bundle Calculation Logic

Total order quantities per size are automatically split into physical bundles based on the resolved bundle size ($Q_{\text{default}}$):

$$\text{Full Bundles} = \left\lfloor \frac{\text{Total Order Qty}}{Q_{\text{default}}} \right\rfloor$$

$$\text{Remainder Bundle} = \text{Total Order Qty} \bmod Q_{\text{default}} \quad (\text{created if } > 0)$$

Configuration & Prerequisites

Required Integration Setting: Ensure Fill-Up Units on Import of Workorders is enabled in SFC System Configuration.

Tag & Category Mapping:

Navigate to SFC Configuration $\rightarrow$ Bundle Rules.

Set bundle quantities per Tag Type and Product Category.

Save configurations (changes apply automatically to all subsequent ERP imports).
